The Stanly County Gymnastics Girls Competitive Team participated in their second competition of the season in January in Fayetteville at the All American Dream Invitational hosted by Countryside Gymnastics.
Stanly County Girls competed against several North and South Carolina teams and represented both individually and as a team. The girls practice between eight and 16 hours per week year-round in order to prepare skills and routines for competition season.
In the Bronze division, Maddie Harwood placed first all-around with a 37.025 and first on floor exercise with a 9.5.
Veronica Crist won second on bars and first on beam with a 9.4.
Journee Dunlap placed fifth on floor and medaled on bars with a 9.175.
Averi Hathcock scored first on floor and first on balance beam with a 9.45.
Kenslie Little placed fifth all-around and second on beam with a 9.125.
Emily Deese won third on beam and third on floor with a 9.225. Bailey Trexler won first on both floor and beam with a 9.225.
Ansley Leslie placed second on beam and first on floor with a 9.55.
Nicole Magana scored fourth on bars with a 9.3 and third all-around.
Trinity Robinson won first all-around with a 36.85 and first on floor with a 9.6.
Ariel Jacobs placed first on vault with a 9.375 and first on floor with a 9.4.
Lilly Russell won second all-around and first on bars with a 9.25.
Cadyn Ritchie scored third all-around and first on beam with a 9.35.
Lauren Gibson won fourth place on bars and first on floor with a 9.4. Leslie Hatley won second on floor with a 9.35 and first on beam with a 9.275.
Kayden Eudy placed first on floor with a 9.575 and first all-around with a 37.2.
The SCG Bronze team placed third in the team division.
In the Silver division, the SCG Silver Team won first place in the team competition along with the gymnasts posting strong finishes in their placing well in their respective age groups.
Campbell Whitley won first on floor with a 9.375 and first on bars with a 9.425.
Ella Cumming won first on floor with a 9.6 and first on bars with a 9.75.
Jatelynne Lee placed third in the all around and first on vault with a 9.05.
Addison Furr scored fifth all-around and second on floor with a 9.1.
Savannah Wind placed first on vault and second on beam with a 9.2.
Meagan McKenzie won third on balance beam and first on floor with a 9.4.
Taylor Holt scored third on floor and first on beam with a 9.3.
Shyane Burleson won first on vault with a 9.6 and first all-around with a 37.175.
Makayla Sewell placed third on bars with a 9.3 and first on floor with a 9.325.
Bailey Mitchell received second on vault with a 9.325 and second on floor with a 9.3.
In the Gold level division, Mya Madaris won first on bars with a 9.5 and first all-around with a 36.775.
Ava Singletary placed fifth on floor and first on bars with a 9.275.
Laney Little won fifth on floor and first on bars with a 9.425.
Andriana Gaddy received fifth all-around and fourth on floor with a 9.275.
The Gold team placed fourth in the team competition.
The SCG Platinum team won third in the team competition.
In the individual categories, Meredith Faw placed third on beam and second on floor with a 9.1.
Claudia Lowder placed second on bars and medaled on floor with a 9.125.
Sheridan Drew won first on floor with a 9.45 and first all around.
Natalie Sedano won second all-around and first on beam with a 9.25.
Emma Brown placed third in the all-around and second on beam with a 9.4.
All the SCG girls have qualified to the North Carolina State Championships by attaining predetermined all-around scores in their respective levels.
