The Stanly County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved four new appointees to the county’s planning board at Tuesday’s board meeting.
Commissioner Patty Crump moved to nominate Patricia Blaney, Kelly Hart and William Gollehon to three-year terms to expire February 2028 and Terry Page for a term to expire in 2027. Page will assume the term of Michael Williams, who was appointed to the Board of Adjustments.
Blaney worked 28 years with Cigna Healthcare as a client service executive, while Hart worked for 20 years as a trainer with Dial Page, and worked 11 years for Allen Storage. Gollehon retired from Michelin Aircraft Tire in Norwood in 2019. Page has worked in construction along with working as a truck driver for ADUSA Transportation.
Planning director Bailey Cline presented the item to commissioners, saying the terms of John Eckman, Kevin Brickman and Joel Mauldin expire in February. Eckman and Mauldin, Cline said, were not seeking reappointments to the planning board.
The last meeting of the current planning board will be Feb. 10.
