On Friday, Albemarle Police arrived at approximately 8:17 a.m. on the scene of a single-vehicle accident with a reported pin-in and serious injury at the intersection of Northeast Connector and Johnson Street.
The driver was transported to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries. There were no other occupants in the vehicle. No other injuries were reported.
