Weather forces postponements, cancellation of Friday football games for Stanly teams

Friday’s storms in Stanly and Rowan counties forced changes in the football schedules of the four Stanly high school programs.
Albemarle’s home game versus Trinity will be Monday night at 7.
The North Stanly Comets’ road game at East Rowan will be Monday at 6 p.m.
West Stanly’s road game at Carson High School will be rescheduled for Monday at 6:30 p.m.
South Stanly’s game at South Rowan was cancelled and will not be made up.
