Stanly County Clerk of Court Ginger Efird confirmed that the State v. Joshua Biles case on Monday was continued until 9 a.m. Aug. 14 in Stanly County Criminal District Court.
Biles, 20, has not entered a plea, Efird said.
Biles has been charged with felony obstruction and concealment of death and is in custody at the Stanly County Jail following the death of his 17-year-old girlfriend Baylee Carver.
Law enforcement discovered Carver’s remains Friday in Cabarrus County. Albemarle Police received a 911 call about her death May 10.
