Stanly 5K race to benefit Charlotte pediatric cancer foundation

The Isabella Santos Foundation, which spreads awareness and raises funds to fight pediatric cancer, will host a race in Stanly next month.
The Albemarle ISF 5K for Kids Cancer will be at 8 a.m. Sept. 25 starting in front of Vac & Dash at 154 S. First St.
Stanly’s run is part of a larger event which will also take place in Charlotte at the same time.
People will have the opportunity to participate in person or by donating online.
The event has raised close to $2.3 million for pediatric cancer over the past 13 years.
