Pfeiffer, Meredith postpone women’s basketball weekend games due to COVID protocols

Sports Editor’s Note: A press release this morning issued by Pfeiffer University Athletics announced a change in the schedule of the women’s basketball team. The release is listed below:
In accordance with USA South COVID-19 management protocols, the upcoming USA South women’s basketball games between Meredith College and Pfeiffer University have been postponed.
Meredith and Pfeiffer were scheduled to play this upcoming weekend, with the Falcons traveling to Raleigh on Friday, Jan. 15 and hosting the Avenging Angels on Sunday, Jan. 17.
The USA South will explore if the contests will be able to be played at a later date.
