Uwharrie Senior Games registration underway

Registration for the 2025 Uwharrie Senior Games and Silver Arts program has begun, and will continue through March 31 at any of three local sites or online.
Those who register prior to March 7 will receive a $5 discount off the normal registration price. After March 7, the fee to register will increase to $25.
Senior Games and Silver Arts is a health promotion and wellness education program for adults 50 years of age and better, and includes activities to promote a healthy body, mind and spirit among participants. It is an opportunity for seniors to showcase their athletic and artistic abilities while enjoying the camaraderie of friends and family.
Participants must be 50 years old or older and must have lived in Stanly or Montgomery counties for at least three months.
To register online, participants should go to Albemarlenc.gov/seniorgames and complete the information. In-person registration can be done during regular business hours at the following sites:

● E.E. Waddell Community Center, 621 Wall St., Albemarle, 704-984-9568.
● Troy-Montgomery Senior Center, 200 Park Road, Troy, 910-572-4464.
