PRC’s Baby Bottle Boomerang fundraiser starts Jan. 19

The Pregnancy Resource Center will start its annual Baby Bottle Boomerang fundraising drive Jan. 19, which happens to be Sanctity of Human Life Sunday.

The PRC provides baby bottles to local churches. The congregation takes them home and fills them with monetary donations. The bottles will be collected Feb. 9.

“It’s just a time for us to raise the awareness for sanctity of life,” PRC Executive Director Gina Russell said.

Russell said the fundraiser has been going on for the past decade. About 60 churches in the county participated last year.

The money collected will help fund PRC’s programs.

“The churches are such a blessing to pass their bottles out and give their members an opportunity to give to help our ministry as we try to help those that find themselves in an unplanned pregnancy,” Russell said.

Baby Bottle Boomerang is one of three fundraisers PRC organizes throughout the year. The others are a spring banquet in May and a walk for life in September.
