Albemarle Police Department, Safe Kids Stanly partner for Community Night Out

The Albemarle Police Department and Safe Kids Stanly County will host Community Night Out 4-7 p.m. Saturday at Stanly YMCA Park.

Members of the community are invited to spend time with members of local law enforcement.

There will be children’s activities including bounce houses and first responder vehicles and equipment to explore.

Food trucks and multiple community organizations will also be on hand.

“Each year, we always look forward to Community Night Out,” said Albemarle Police Chief Jason Bollhorst. “This event gives us a chance to build a closer relationship with the people we serve and encourage them to partner with the police to make our community an even better place to live.”

“Safe Kids Stanly County is excited to support Community Night Out 2022. This event gives our coalition the opportunity to connect with kids and parents that otherwise may not know the resources we offer,” added Adam Palmer, Stanly County Safe Kids coordinator.
