Local partnerships seek donations for children

Richfield Civitan, in partnership with Crossroads Connection and First Bank, is sponsoring a drive to support two Child Advocacy Centers: The Butterfly House and Carolyn’s Kaleidoscope Center.

During June, the community can support the clients of these centers by donating snack foods, household cleaners, first aid items and new clothing (no infant sizes needed); donations can be dropped off at First Bank in Richfield.

A more detailed list of items can be found on the Crossroads Connection Facebook or Instagram page.

For three years, Crossroads Connection has been at work in northern Stanly County, serving people of all ages.

Richfield Civitan has partnered with several Crossroads Connection ministries, including Reading Rangers-Life Changers (new books for elementary students), feeding local teachers and school staff, and weekend backpacks of food for local students.

Crossroads Connection is a network of faith, business, education and neighborhood partners. Serving northern Stanly County and surrounding areas, Crossroads Connection is connecting neighbors and building community through education, food, healthy living and relationships.
