Albemarle police look for suspect in Papa John’s robbery

The Albemarle Police Department issued a press release Friday evening seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual who they say robbed Papa John’s in Albemarle on Dec. 22. Below is the press release information:

Detectives with the Albemarle Police Department are looking for assistance in identifying the suspect in a recent case. Papa John’s Pizza #0655 located at 633 NC 24-27 Bypass East in Albemarle reported a robbery on Sunday night, December 22, 2019, at 9:35 pm. Detectives were able to obtain video surveillance of the incident.
