Man arrested for multiple drugs, firearm possession

Stanly County Sheriff’s Office and Norwood Police Department detectives conducted a traffic stop on Frank Yang on June 6.

During the investigation, which included a vehicle search, and a residential search warrant, approximately 27.4 grams of methamphetamine, 20.72 grams of cocaine, 143.2 grams of mushrooms, 34.6 grams of Sch VI and two firearms, which are unlawful for Yang to possess, were seized.

Yang received an $80,000 secured bond.

He was arrested and charged with possession of firearm by felon; possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver schedule I; possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver schedule II; possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver methamphetamine; possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver schedule VI; maintaining vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances; and possession of drug paraphernalia.
