SCS moves to online ticketing service GoFan

Stanly County Schools has a new partner in high school sporting events.

The ticketing service GoFan will handle all ticket sales for high school sports. The service, which enables attendees to pay for and access tickets electronically, will be available beginning this month for volleyball matches. Tickets will no longer be sold at the gate. Tickets will be sold online through GoFan prior to the event, with verification of the purchase taking place at the point of entry.

Every school will have a dedicated GoFan page for ticket sales. The link can be found on the school’s website as well as the Athletics Page of the Stanly County Schools website.

The school district encourages fans to order tickets online as soon as the links are published, particularly since seating capacity at all Stanly County Schools sporting events will be limited to accommodate pandemic safety measures. Safety measures include mandatory social distancing, temperature screenings and masks for all attendees.

The athletic venue at each school will also have entry and exit procedures that will help promote social distancing, while limiting person-to-person contact and the need for a physical exchange of cash.
