Stanly County’s ‘Dancing With The Stars’ to bring ‘Magic of Motown’

Get ready for a night of glitz, glamour and groovy tunes at the 12th annual Dancing with the Stars event, benefiting the Butterfly House Children’s Advocacy Center.
This year’s event will be at 7 p.m. Sept. 7 at the Stanly County Agri-Civic Center, with the theme “Magic of Motown.”
Eleven dance teams have been working throughout the summer to perfect their routines and raise crucial funds for Butterfly House. Their fundraising efforts have included a variety of community activities, such as bake sales, raffles, yoga classes, sports tournaments and dinners showcasing their commitment to the cause.
“Our dance teams have shown incredible dedication and creativity in their fundraising efforts,” said Amy Yow, Butterfly House director. “We are thrilled to see the community come together to support Butterfly House, and we can’t wait to share the Magic of Motown with everyone.”
Butterfly House Children’s Advocacy Center provides services to children and families affected by abuse, offering a safe haven and support during challenging times. The funds raised from this event will go directly towards continuing their invaluable work.
Tickets for the show are available now. For more information, to donate to a dance team or to purchase tickets, visit stanlydancing.com.
