‘Butterbean’ to join Roughest & Toughest Brawl

This is big.

As fight events go, it’s really big.

No one owns the term big, quite the way Hall of Fame boxer/tough-man Eric “Butterbean” Esch. A dominant force and household name, Butterbean has scaled the heights of the heavyweight ladder.

This natural phenomenon looked to K.O. anyone who stepped foot into the ring with him. He excelled on the professional kick-boxing circuit and even tried the WWE.

Veteran promoter Mike “Money Mike” Long, no stranger to the ring, is thrilled to have Butterbean on board with Roughest and Toughest Brawl.

“Eric — I mean Butterbean — took himself all the way to the top and has a reputation world-wide as the best and toughest tough man ever,” Long said.

The first venue for this duo is the Cabarrus Arena.

Long has had fighters including 9X World Champion Roy Jones Jr. compete at this venue.

“I’m looking forward to March 3rd and 4th,” says Butterbean. “The Roughest and Toughest Brawl is going to be electric! I can’t wait to see the men and women lace the gloves up and bring the fury!

“We are very excited to have a great group of men and women lined up for the first Brawl since the Covid lockdown,” Long said. “The ramped-up energy and aggression is going to make for some terrific matches.”

Butterbean used the toughman events to launch himself into national recognition, fighting Larry Holmes to a decision and toppling Johnny Knoxville of MTV’s “Jackass.”

“Who knows if there’s a man or woman from this event that will use the Roughest and Toughest Brawl to catapult them on to stardom as Butterbean did,” Long said.

Butterbean will be available for pictures and autographs signed for a small fee. Tickets, celebrity meet-and-greet and limited Roughest and Toughest Brawl entry opportunities are available at www.RoughestandToughestcom.
