HARRISTOWN NEWS: Churches celebrate anniversaries

Have a safe Halloween tonight. Watch out for the little ones out and about. Can you believe we’re heading into November? The weather definitely hasn’t felt like it, but it’s here.

Church News

Spirit and Truth United Church of Worship will host its Pastor’s Anniversary, beginning at 6 p.m. Nov. 4. Pastor Darryl Medley’s Birthday Celebration will feature special guest Mitchell Johnson & Rehoboth. The anniversary continues at 10 a.m. Nov. 5. The guest speaker will be Pastor Juan Johnson, of Vision, Hope and Peace United Church of Worship, Lenoir.

The Room will celebrate its 9th Church and Pastoral Anniversary at 4 p.m. Nov. 5. The guest speaker will be Apostle Omar Rojas, Greensboro. Pastors Carlos and Tamara Horne are the hosts.

Resurrection Community Church invites all to help celebrate Pastor Micheal Stovall’s 23rd anniversary, and the church’s 26th Anniversary Celebration on Nov. 5 at 3 p.m. The guest speaker will be Pastor Michael Scott, of New Direction Life Ministries.

Evangelist Vanessa Chambers will be the co-host of Michella’s Salon Presents Shop Talk, on Nov. 6 at 6 p.m. The address is 1949 E. Main St.

Galilee Missionary Baptist Church will host a Missionary Program on Nov. 19 at 10:30 a.m. Chambers will be the guest speaker. Pastor Deon Anderson is the host pastor.
