Stanly County Historical Society to sell vintage treasures, antiques

The Stanly County Historical Society will have a Vintage Treasures and Antique sale at the
Historic 1852 Isaiah Snuggs House at 112 N. Third St. in Downtown Albemarle 8 a.m.-noon July
17.

This benefit event planned by the organization’s Events & Marketing Committee is chaired by Billie Jean Snuggs. She has enlisted the help of the Snuggs family in securing donations from the community and organizing the event. Her mother-in-law, Hilda Snuggs, a longtime supporter of the Historical Society, wanted to be involved along with her son, Lee Snuggs, and daughter, Leslie Snuggs Phillips.

The Society is accepting donations of household items, home decor and collectibles, used furniture and antiques. A tax donation letter is available upon request.

Delivery and pick up of donations may be scheduled by calling Billie Jean Snuggs at 704-438-2243.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the general operating expenses of the society.
