Albemarle Police arrest 3 for drug charges

On July 15, Albemarle Police Department detectives, with the assistance of the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and Norwood Police Department, conducted a search warrant at 222 S. Morrow Ave.

Upon search of the residence, detectives seized approximately 65 grams of methamphetamine, 41 grams of marijuana, 1 gram of fentanyl, drug paraphernalia and $3,034 in U.S. currency.

Jordan Williams, 26, Albemarle, was charged him with trafficking methamphetamine, conspire to traffic methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a dwelling and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to Stanly County Jail and received a $300,000 secured bond for his release. His first scheduled court appearance is July 26 at 9 a.m.

deliver methamphetamine. Xiong was transported to Stanly County Jail and received a $5,000 secured bond for her release. Her first scheduled court appearance is July 26 at 9 a.m.

Dewitt Williams, 63, was arrested for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of fentanyl and maintaining a dwelling. Williams was transported to Stanly County Jail and received a $25,000 secured bond for his release. His first scheduled court appearance is July 26 at 9 a.m.
