Pfeiffer Men’s Soccer falls at Methodist

The Pfeiffer University men’s soccer team fell to visiting Methodist University 1-0 on Tuesday night at Lefko-Mills Field.
The loss dropped Pfeiffer’s record to 2-4-2 overall and 0-2 in USA South play.
Methodist scored the lone goal of the match in the 20th minute on a goal from Cameron Lambert, assisted by Garrett Panos.
Goalkeeper Ali Jaafar totaled three saves for the Falcons out of 12 total Monarchs shots.
Pfeiffer recorded three shots on goal.
Pfeiffer will host Division II Shaw University in a 2 p.m. nonconference match on Oct. 4 at Lefko-Mills Field.
