Tillery Compassionate Care has the following meetings planned:
• “Light the Lake,” a free water luminary event to celebrate a loved one at City Lake Park, will be 5:30-9 p.m. Oct. 4.
This event is part of the City of Albemarle Food Truck Friday event.
• The Grief Support Dinner will be 5 p.m. Oct. 10 at The Rosebriar Restaurant, 528 Wiscassett St., Albemarle.
• The Next Chapter Book Club will meet 2-4 p.m. Oct. 17 at the Stanly County Senior Center. Register by Oct. 14 for this small group discussing a book on grief.
• The Women’s Grief Support Luncheon will be at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 24 at Grace Baptist Church of Albemarle. Call to register by Oct. 21
