A domestic situation has left two individuals with non-life threatening injuries, police say.

Oakboro Police responded shortly before 8:30 p.m. Monday to Claymond Road and found two people with gunshot wounds. Both were transported to a hospital.

Stanly County Sheriff’s Office is assisting Oakboro with the investigation, according to Oakboro Capt. Craig Richards.
