A polar plunge to raise funds for Special Olympics Stanly County is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 4 at the Badin Lake public access and swimming area.

Registration and check-in is 10-11:45 a.m. The plunge begins at noon.

Cost is $100 per five-person team, with additional members added at $15 each. Adults 18 and over can also enter individually for $25, while students and Special Olympics athletes can join for $15.
