Atrium Health, in collaboration with Care N’ Care Insurance Company of North Carolina, Inc., will offer a new Medicare Advantage Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plan, called Teal Premier, to Medicare-eligible residents of Anson, Burke, Cleveland, Lincoln, Stanly and Union counties beginning Jan. 1, 2019.

Teal Premier will give our patients access to a Medicare Advantage insurance plan that brings trusted and valued Atrium Health providers and services together, closer to home,” said Dr. Roger Ray, executive vice president and chief physician executive for Atrium Health.

Teal Premier members will be able to choose from a comprehensive network of doctors and world-class specialists from Atrium Health and other community providers.

The plan offers additional benefits beyond traditional Medicare coverage, including dental, hearing and eye care coverage and SilverSneakers fitness program.

Members will also have personal healthcare concierges to explain their plan benefits and help them get the best for their coverage.

Teal Premier received all state and federal licenses and regulatory approvals and Medicare-eligible members can enroll in the plan during the enrollment period until Dec. 7.
