The N.C. Department of Transportation will close one lane on N.C. Highway 24-27 West over Rocky River near Locust.

Bridge maintenance crews will close the left westbound lane to set up a crane that will remove debris in the river that has accumulated against the structure. The lane closure will resume Monday and could continue through Wednesday, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.
If bad weather interrupts the work schedule, the lane closure may be extended.
Transportation officials remind motorists to drive safely, obey all posted speed limits and work-zone postings.
