Singing Americans of Stanly County announces concert schedule

The North Carolina Singing Americans of Stanly County will perform during the 2022 Patriotic Concert Season at the following locations:
• 4 p.m. June 26 at Grace Baptist Church;
• 4 p.m. July 3 at Badin Baptist Church;
• 4 p.m. July 17 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church;
• 4 p.m. Aug. 14 at West Stanly Baptist Church
• 4 p.m. Aug. 28 at South Albemarle Baptist Church.
The Singing Americans will also present a lunch concert at the Stanly County Senior Center in Albemarle at 11 a.m. July 26.
Under the direction of Bob Remsburg, the Singing Americans will present musical selections from “America, of Thee I Sing!” created by Luke Gambill; “God Bless The USA Musical,” created by Sue Smith Joel Lindsey and Russell Mauldin; “I Love This Land,” created by Russell Mauldin and Sue Smith; “God Bless America” by Irving Berlin; and selections from “The Best of Southern Gospel,” arranged by Russell Mauldin.
The Singing Americans of Stanly County is a unique organization composed of singers throughout Stanly County who love to share their faith and patriotism through annual patriotic performances.
Rehearsals are at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Grace Baptist Church.
New members are invited to join the rehearsals for this patriotic season.
