Norwood Police Department announced Thursday morning that the annual Winter Wonderland has been canceled for this year.

“We were contacted by the ICE Company yesterday, and they stated that there were unable to provide the service this year because of a lack of employees and the effects of Covid on current staff,” the department posted of its Facebook page. “We are very disappointed by this news as we were looking forward to providing our community with a free, family-oriented event on our newly updated sledding hill. However, this cancellation is out of our control.  We are very grateful for the support that we have had for this event by our community, vendors, and this year’s sponsor, the Nehemiah Project. We will continue to work on this event and keep our fingers crossed for an excellent time next year.”
