As a lifelong resident of Stanly County, it lifted by spirits to see that our county commissioners took a stand against the vaccine mandate.

I personally have no problem with the vaccine. I have taken it.

My problem is with the federal and state governments trying to force citizens to take it.

Bill Lawhon stated it well that it is a personal choice. I agree with Tommy Jordan that if we read the U.S. Constitution one will not find anything that grants the government the right to control you to get a vaccine in your body.

This health mandate is just one of the socialist ideas of Joe Biden. There is a total lack of dealing with reality in the Green New Deal. That will be a topic for another day.
