Pfeiffer men’s lacrosse to travel in first round of NCAA Div. III tourney

The Pfeiffer University men’s lacrosse team will travel to Lynchburg College to take on the host Hornets in the first round of the NCAA Division III Men’s Lacrosse Tournament, the NCAA has announced.
Pfeiffer (12-1) and Lynchburg (16-2) each earned automatic bids to the NCAA Tournament, with the host Hornets, currently ranked fourth nationally, winning their eighth ODAC Championship on Saturday with a 16-6 road win over Washington & Lee.
Pfeiffer earns their first trip to the NCAA Tournament after winning the USA South title 17-13 over Piedmont College this Saturday. Lynchburg will be making their 14th appearance overall in the tournament.
Game time is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 15 at Shellenberger Field on the Lynchburg campus.
