Norwood cancels Arbor Day Festival

The town of Norwood has announced the cancellation of the Arbor Day Festival.
The festival usually takes place in April.
“The health and safety of our citizens and employees is the Town of Norwood’s highest priority,” town officials noted in a statement. “Due to concerns over the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the Town of Norwood will cancel the 2021 Annual Arbor Day Festival. We are following the lead of our town, state and federal elected officials as we take steps recommended by the Department of Health and the Center for Disease Control (CDC). We encourage all citizens to follow all recommended guidelines and precautions. Please be safe. We look forward to providing a wonderful event for everyone in 2022.”
