On Dec. 21, the longest night of the year, the Senior Center will honor and remember those who have been affected by Alzheimer’s.

The Senior Center will have luminary bags available for a $1 donation through Dec. 18. Come by the Senior Center, write your loved one’s name on a bag and the center staff will take care of the rest. Purple, battery operated tea lights will be placed in each bag and the bags will line the sidewalk at the Senior Center on the evening of Dec. 21.

Anyone unable to come by to fill out a bag or who does not feel comfortable coming inside can call the Senior Center at 704-986-3769 and they will fill out a bag.
