The Stanly County Sheriff’s Office arrested four suspects Monday on second-degree murder charges.

Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office responded to a scene on Old Aquadale Road where three subjects had overdosed. One subject, Sai Lee, was found deceased. Two others were in critical condition.

Arrested were Bradley Austin Burris, 33, Quinton Darby Harris, 30, Paul Junior Waddell III, 37, and Xee Xiong, 32.

Detectives responded to the scene and obtained search warrants for 36245-A & B Short Road, Badin, leading to the arrests and murder charges for distribution of a dangerous narcotic, which resulted in Lee’s death.

The four subjects are scheduled to appear Aug. 24 in District Court in Albemarle.
