Albemarle Police Department reports the following activity:
• A person reported being victim of fraud at 10 a.m. Aug. 4.
• Chaine Store Mat. was victim of breaking and entering on N.C. Highway 24-27 Bypass between 8 a.m. July 6 and 11:15 a.m. Aug. 4.
• A person was victim of fraud on Salisbury Avenue at 1:51 p.m. Aug. 4.
• Walmart reported shoplifting and concealment of goods and second degree trespassing between 7:30 p.m. Aug. 3 and 5 p.m. Aug. 4.
• A person reported being victim of fraud on Eben Street at 12:27 p.m. Aug. 4.
• Joseph Demetrice Wall, 24, was arrested on felony charge of possession of stolen firearm on Henry Jay Street on Aug. 4.
• Lawrence Glenn Pennington, 60, was arrested on felony charge of felony possession of schedule II controlled substance at West Main Street/White Oak Avenue on Aug. 4.
• Clarence James Oiler, 43, was arrested on charge of felony possession of methamphetamine, citation of failure to wear seat belt and citation of expired/no inspection at West Main Street/White Oak Avenue on Aug. 4.
• Esco Mcdowd Bebber, 38, was arrested on misdemeanor charge of shoplifting and concealment of goods at Leonard Avenue on Aug. 4.
