The Friends of the Stanly County Public Library will resume donations of items Aug. 3.

The organization will accept clean, gently-used books and DVDs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the loading dock on the Third Street side of the Main Library, 133 E. Main St., Albemarle.

Due to space limitations, the group is not able to accept encyclopedias, textbooks, magazines, video or audio cassettes.
