COVID-19 cases reach 151, up 50 from last weekend

Stanly County Health Department reports 151 total positive cases of COVID-19 and four deaths as of Friday afternoon.
A total of 103 individuals have recovered and the health department is actively monitoring 43 individuals.
NC Department of Health and Human Services has launched new testing and contact tracing campaigns – Answer the Call, Check My Symptoms, and Find My Testing Place.
Answer the Call is a media campaign that reminds you to do your part to help slow the spread of COVID-19 by cooperating with your local health department. If you are called by Stanly County Health Department as a contact to a person positive for COVID-19, you will be asked to quarantine (stay at home and away from others) for 14 days. You will also be encouraged to get tested. You can protect your loved ones by answering the call.
Check My Symptoms is an online tool you can use to determine if you need to be tested. You can access it at https://ncdhhs-covid19-dtra.powerappsportals.us/.
Find My Testing Place can help you find a testing site that is convenient for you. You can access it at https://covid19.ncdhhs.gov/about-covid-19/testing/find-my-testing-place.

You can stop the spread of the virus by following the 3 W’s
● Wear a cloth face covering.
● Wait 6 feet apart. Avoid close contact.
● Wash your hands often or use hand sanitizer.
