Glenn Shaver, 67, of Albemarle, passed away on April 1, 2019 in CHS Stanly, Albemarle.
His funeral service will be 3 p.m. Sunday, April 7, 2019 at Coyle Baptist Church in Stanfield with Pastor David Sanders officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the church prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Glenn was born May 2, 1951 in Albemarle, to Worth Shaver and Sue Shaver.
He was a retired maintenance worker with Publix in Jacksonville, Fla.
He loved his family, warm weather, his dog Rusty, and being outdoors.
Mr. Shaver is survived by his daughters, Angie Harrison of Albemarle and Denita Elliott of Murrells Inlet; nieces, Tracie Sanders and husband, David, of Albemarle and Sherry Blalock and husband, Al, of Midland; nephew, Robert Shaver Jr. and wife, Holly; and a number of grandchildren and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Shaver Sr., and a son, Kenneth Shaver.
