Oakboro Choice STEM School gala to be held April 6

Oakboro Choice STEM School will have its annual gala from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. April 6 at the Barn at Oakboro.
The gala will help raise money for the STEM program, including iReady instructional tools for the teachers, said Christina Edwards, a parent and volunteer who is part of the gala committee.
Tickets for the gala will be on sale in the office or people can contact Edwards at 704-467-1276. Tickets are $60 per couple or $30 per individual and will include dinner, music provided by DJ Dean, a silent auction and door prizes.
The Barn at Oakboro is at 16457 Silver Road in Oakboro.
