Knights tennis moves to 3-0 with home win

The Gray Stone Knights tennis team earned a 9-0 win Wednesday afternoon at Pfeiffer’s Knapp Tennis Center over South Davidson in a Yadkin Valley Conference matchup.
With the win, the Knights moved to 3-0 on the season after early wins over North Moore, 9-0, and an 8-1 win over South Stanly.
Lee Boone, Marshall Overcash, Robert Shelton and Rohan Sharma all moved to 3-0 on the season as individuals while Lee Boone moved to 2-0 with Wednesday’s win.
Gray Stone has three home matches at Pfeiffer this week, playing Albemarle on Monday, North Rowan on Wednesday and Uwharrie Charter Thursday.
