Club Honors Paul Harris Fellow

The Albemarle Rotary Club named two new Paul Harris Fellows and two who became multi Paul Harris Fellows at a recent meeting.
From left are: Rotarians Pete Harward, who became a multi Paul Harris Fellow; George Crooker, who received his first Paul Harris Fellow Award; Robert Stonestreet, club president nominee who made the presentations; Jean Hendley, who received her first Paul Harris Fellow Award; and Mary Burt Allen, who became a multi Paul Harris Fellow. The Paul Harris Award is given to those who contribute or have contributions made in their name to the Rotary Foundation. Paul Harris Fellows, one of the many programs carried out by the Foundation, is to annually give grants to 1,000 students to study overseas and act as cultural ambassadors.
