The Stanly County Family YMCA honored a longtime supporter on Wednesday. YMCA CEO George Crooker, left, presented a plaque to Peggy Smith Grigg. Crooker said Grigg had been a volunteer and ambassador of the Y’s activities for many years. Grigg has used the warm water pool at the Y for therapy and now a plaque has been installed naming a portion “Peggy’s Corner.” (Contributed)
