Albemarle Downtown Development Corporation is reworking one of its popular events and has announced schedules for others.
ADDC announced recently that the Winter Wine Festival would be postponed this year.
“Our nonprofit and its volunteers are re-imaging the Wine Festival to make it even more impactful and memorable,” Beth Olivieri, chairperson for ADDC, said by email.
ADDC is accepting the public’s input through a survey posted at https://stanlycountywinterwinefest.com/.
The survey asks individuals what parts of the festival they liked and disliked, what would make them more likely to attend a future festival and how important is it that the festival to support ADDC’s projects.
The Outdoorsman’s Bonanza, another ADDC event, has been moved this year to the new Stanly County Farm Bureau Livestock Arena at 26130 Newt Road in Albemarle.
Tickets for the event, which is March 22, are on sale now.
Prizes include a 2025 Honda HRV, a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado, hunting and fishing gear, and cash, among other items.

ADDC also said that The Duke’s Feast will return Jan. 27 to Feb. 2, with three local restaurants offering exclusive dine-in specials.
Three-course meals will be available at Christine’s Wood Fire, Five Points Public House and The Courthouse Tavern & Table.
