RALEIGH – Watson Dufour of New London tried his luck on a $30 scratch-off and won a $100,000 prize.
Dufour bought his lucky Supreme 7s ticket from Hop In on East King Street in King.
He arrived at lottery headquarters Tuesday to claim his prize and, after required federal and state tax withholdings, took home $71,509.
The Supreme 7s game debuted in July with four $4 million top prizes and 10 $100,000 prizes. Two $4 million prizes and seven $100,000 prizes remain to be claimed.
