Stanly Community College has announced that Cassidy Ball has been promoted to director of Small Business & Entrepreneurial Development.

Cassidy Ball has been named the new director of the SCC Small Business Center.
In this role, she will lead efforts to help local business owners, entrepreneurs and community partners by offering programs, educational resources, and business support services.
Ball has experience in this field. She previously worked as the administrative and programming assistant for SCC’s Small Business Center, where she managed workshops each year, expanded online outreach and built strong connections with local business leaders. “I’m excited to lead the Small Business Center and support local entrepreneurs on their journey. Small businesses are the backbone of our local economy, and I look forward to providing the guidance and resources they need to thrive,” said Ball.
