When did it become OK to be opinionated if you’re conservative and extremely ignorant if you’re liberal?
I recently spoke my mind on a conservative news outlet and got death threats and ridiculed because I wanted to help people.
I had facts and statistics. I did my homework. I spent a couple of hours looking up information. I was so proud of myself, only to be shot down by over 900 irrational conservatives. Under 10 individuals agreed with my facts.
I don’t mind the disagreement, I was taught at a very young age, only makes you stronger, smarter and more intune with the happenings going on around you.
It is concerning that threatening someone or ridiculing someone is the popular thing to do. I wonder if it is because our current president is such a bully. Has he shown people that it’s cool now? Has he influenced others to treat people,who think differently, the way he treats them?
I wasn’t aware that being opinionated was wrong. I did know, however, that our current president calls people names. He humiliates individuals who think outside of his box. I wonder how long it will be until he turns on all the people?
“We the People” has turned into “We the Submissive.”
