The City of Albemarle is excited to announce the return of its popular Food Truck Friday series for 2025.
After drawing more than 10,000 attendees last year, this monthly event is set to bring even more food and free live music to City Lake Park.
Food Truck Fridays are from April through October on the first Friday of each month (except for July, which will be on the second Friday) from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at City Lake Park, 815 Concord Road.
Bring a blanket or lawn chair to relax and enjoy the show.
“Food Truck Fridays are a fantastic way for our community to experience the beauty of City Lake Park while enjoying great food and live music,” said Lisa Kiser, Parks and Recreation director. “These events provide the perfect opportunity to gather with family and friends, make lasting memories, and take in all that our park has to offer.”
Events include:
• April 4 – Dirty Grass Soul
• May 2 – The Phoebes
• June 6 – The Chain
• July 11 – Legacy Motown Revue
• Aug. 1 – Chris Taylor & The Rumor
• Sept. 5 – Too Much Sylvia
 Oct. 3 – Jim Quick and Coastline
