The 22nd Annual Outdoorsman’s Bonanza returns March 22 and features more than $200,000 in prizes, including outdoor gear, cash, a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado, a 2025 Honda HR-V and a 2025 Sylvan 820LZ Pontoon.
Tickets can be reserved at www.outdoorsmansbonanza.com or by calling 980-323-4103.
This year’s Bonanza moves to a location outside of downtown Albemarle.
“The Bonanza keeps growing each year, and we’re excited to showcase this new venue,” said Kim McGowen, annual giving officer for Stanly Health Foundation. “Market Station has been a great home for the event, but with over 1,000 attendees annually, we needed a space that offers more comfort and accessibility. The Farm Bureau Livestock Arena provides that, and we look forward to welcoming both locals and visitors.”
The Outdoorsman’s Bonanza benefits Stanly County Shrine Club, Stanly Health Foundation and Albemarle Downtown Development Corporation.
Attendees will enjoy a day filled with live music, food, beverages and prize drawings.
For long-time attendees, the Bonanza is more than just a fundraiser—it’s a community tradition.
“I’ve attended for years and enjoy the atmosphere: the music, kicking back, enjoying the crowd, and the prize drawings,” said Josh Hartgrove, an annual attendee. “The Bonanza keeps getting better each year, and I believe it’s important to support the community with this event.”
“The Bonanza plays an integral role in supporting our mission,” said Katie Lynn, interim director of Albemarle Downtown. “Funds raised help revitalize downtown Albemarle through beautification projects and economic stimulus grants, making our city an even more inviting place to live, work, and visit.”
Funds raised also have a direct impact on healthcare initiatives in the community.
“Proceeds from this event allow us to provide scholarships for future medical professionals, fund important health programs in our schools, and support critical patient education at Atrium Health Stanly,” said McGowen. “We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of our supporters.”
The Stanly County Shrine Club, a long-time partner in the event, continues its commitment to supporting Shriners Children’s hospitals through its participation.
“We take every opportunity to help children through fundraising, and the Bonanza is a key part of that success,” said Joe Burris, secretary of Stanly County Shrine Club.
Tickets are $100 each and only 4,000 will be sold.
Winners do not need to be present to claim their prizes.
