Due to the forecast for a wintry mix of precipitation Wednesday into Thursday, events have been postponed.
The Stanly County Chamber of Commerce’s annual meeting has been postponed. The meeting is now planned for 5:30 p.m. March 6 at Atrium Health Stanly Magnolia Room, 301 Yadkin St., Albemarle.
Tillery Compassionate Care has rescheduled its Women’s Grief Support Luncheon to 11:30 a.m. Feb. 26 at Grace Baptist Church in Albemarle. Cost is $8. Call Janna at 704-983-4216 ext. 133.
Stanly County Schools moved to a remote learning schedule for Wednesday. Extracurricular activities were cancelled.
Stanly County Senior Services cancelled all afternoon activities on Wednesday at the Albemarle and West Stanly centers.
The Sons of the American Revolution’s celebration of Washington’s birthday was moved from Thursday to 6:30 p.m. Feb. 27 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Chuch.
