Cabarrus, Catawba, Iredell, Stanly, Mecklenburg and Rowan counties are partnering to put on a Spring Rabbit Show.
Children who are 4-H age 5-18 (as of Jan. 1) are eligible to participate. There will be type and showmanship classes. You are able to show your own rabbit or borrow one.
Registration fee is $15 for showing your own and $30 to borrow.

All participants are required to attend zoom meetings at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 24.
The show will be at the Rowan Fairgrounds on May 3.

Besides the show, the Stanly County Rabbit Rangers Club will have a formation meeting Feb. 26.
The County Rabbit Rangers is a new 4-H Club open to all 4-H’ers 5-18 years old (as of Jan. 1).
Club members will learn about rabbits, how to care for them and even how to show a rabbit in the upcoming Piedmont Rabbit Project Show from local experts.
The kickoff meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 26 at the Stanly County Agri-Civic Center.
