Stanly Dragons Coach Dr. Jarrod Dennis has announced team members for the Dragons’ game against the Harlem Wizards, set for Jan. 30 at Pfeiffer University’s Merner Gym.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and tip-off is at 7 p.m.
The Harlem Wizards are a traveling basketball team made up of former college players with excellent ball handling techniques and tricks. These showmen will play against teachers and staff from many Stanly County schools.
This event is a fundraiser for the Albemarle Rotary Club, with profits being given back to Stanly County Schools as grants, to students as scholarships and to the community as Rotary projects.
This is the Harlem Wizards’ second visit to Stanly County.
