Carolina Christian School will host an informational session on the NC Opportunity Scholarship program for current CCS families and for anyone in the Locust community who is interested in learning more about this scholarship.
This meeting will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday in the Carolina Presbyterian Church sanctuary.
The director of community engagement for parents for educational freedom in North Carolina will be on campus explaining what the program is, how you can apply for your student(s) and to answer any questions you may have on anything related to the Opportunity Scholarship program.
Many CCS families already take advantage of this program, but the school wanted all CCS families, plus the community at large, to be able to have their questions answered and to apply for this scholarship in February, should they decide to do so.
This seminar is not mandatory to attend, but is a way to learn about how this scholarship could potentially benefit families in paying for a private, Christian education.
